Thank you C-Brats

Hi C-Brats, tomorrow is the first day out on C-Tour. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. I've been reading (and lurking) many of the posts since I joined and have learned a ton of stuff from the group. A lot of the new guy questions have been asked in previous posts so I've been pretty quiet in the pub. Will be a bit more active in the future and hope to contribute to a great community. So thanks for all the time you've invested in this group, you can't imagine the amount of fun I've had dreaming about getting underway in our 22 footer. Will be heading out from Cutter Marina tomorrow. Hope to see you on the water (not bump into you either!)

Mike

Welcome Redman and Congrats on the new boat. Don't forget to take the camera with you and take lots of pictures of your boat and toll rig and of course your first mate. Ask the moderators for a Photo Album and share your joy with us all.

Thanks Mike, camera: that's another thing to put on the check list! Will get photos posted as soon as I get figure out how that is done.

Congratulations! I'll confess I'm a little jealous - I've got the urge to get out there myself, but my boat's over at Cutter for service right now, so I'll just have to wait another week or so.

Do you know about the June 2-4 C-Dory gathering at Lankford Bay on the Eastern Shore? If not, you can find the sign-up sheet on the top of the page, and there's a discussion thread under "upcoming events." We have 27 boats coming so far, and it will be a great chance to meet other brats - we had a terrific time last year.

Enjoy yourself tomorrow!

Likewise, Mike, on the Potomac for sure. You'll go right by our place if you head up from the Bay. Please give some thought to coming to the Langford Bay gathering in early June, you'll see lots of ideas to spend money on and meet a lot of great folks!

Charlie

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Had a blast yesterday, really glad I have the trim tabs. Felt like a diving officer setting the trim on the boat, could see a difference in speed once trimmed properly. The Langford Bay get together sounds fun! See you soon.
