Do you mean this?

By hitting the preview button, you can see if what you are going to post will be what you want to post!... :D

Thanks Dr Bob,

I was attempting to see how to post a photo. I hit the preview button and only got the link that was posted( no photograph) so I submitted it to see if photo would show on posting. It didn't and I was going to ask how to do that.

I have a number of photos of the C-Brats banner that I want to post.

Gene -

You need to go to your album and call up the picture on screen, then right click on it and choose Copy image address or Copy image URL or whatever your browser calls it. Then you paste that address between the Img tags and it will show up in the message.

Sorry we missed you in Bellingham this year - again. But things might be looking up for possible trips next season. The trailer is rebuilt, the truck to tow it with is new, and the boat is getting repowered, so I am running out of excuses.

Gene, also when you post the photo, under the bottom of your message body box , make sure the disable BBCode in this post box is unchecked. Colby

Hi Gene,

I use a Mac, but it should be similar on a windoze machine.

I go to any photo which ends in" JPEG", (or in your album) hold "control" (Ctrl in windows) and scroll down to "Copy image address" in the photo, and click on that. Then I go to the post, hit , paste in the "image address", and then hit[Img*].

In your case the address enclosed was:

I suspect your photo did not have the correct compressed image format, such as JPEG. (I believe that there are several other common photo compression "names" (such as PNG and GIF) which may work.

If I have a photo on my computer, I first put it in my album, then copy to the post I
am making. It will also work with photos in external albums, which have an address.
