Sweetening the pot to sell a CD 25

The current price of this immaculate boat does not give me much room to negotiate, but I can add a few items if we can get the right price for the boat. The items that could be added could include:

* Honda 2000 -- like new, fewer than 10 hours
* Delta 22# anchor
* Breville toaster oven, very nice, expensive, see at Williams-Sonoma
* Magma Newport grill -- brand new, unused, very nice -- from the Camano
* Tufted-topper for v-berth, 2 sets custom sheets, 1 set unused
* Set of 4 fenders
* Navionics card for south Florida, card for lakes and rivers
* A few very nice pots and pans

We will leave for San Francisco Bay near the end of July. Currently we plan to leave the C-Dory in Iowa in its garage. We would rather haul it west for a new owner. :)

I truly believe the condition of our boat together with the price makes it better than new. Like a few others on this site, I usually lean toward buying new -- my financial strategy is usually to buy high and sell low. Anyway, I might not have considered buying a boat like ours when we bought our C-Dory. With what I know now, that would have to have gone on my ever-expanding list of BIG MISTAKES.

Regards to all,

Greg

Thank you, that explains it.
I wish I was in a position to jump on this, but no...

I could actually write a check for it, but I'm in transition between work and retirement, and buying waterfront property on Lake Champlain...

So, it's vicarious boat ownership until things settle-out.

Beautifull boat...I expect to be kicking myself for not going for it.

Regards-

Karl

Peter,
Thanks so much for stepping in. I'm away from home babysitting grandkids and just saw this.

Karl,
I hate to see you kicking yourself downline. Keep in touch.

Regards to all,

Greg
