The moon tonight appears brighter and larger than normal full moons... step outside and check it out!

I was hoping to catch the perigee, but cloud cover moved in & it's now raining...bummer. I will say the tide was ++ on my ride in off the water to lift the boat out (I came in about high tide) - whoah - what a ride on the incoming.
 
No can do up here unfortunately...fog and clouds.

I was working in the harbor last night and the high tide level was impressive!
 
Same moon in Ventura, CA! I was just pointing it out to the kids. We have about a month of clear weather before we get socked in for most of the summer.
 
we have partly cloudy sky's tonight so can not see it yet. I just used google sky to find is and its about 10 mins til I can see it.
 
Awesome here in Apalachicola. Maybe Ill select a good photo and figure out how to post it like Jim did .

Just checked out the front door and see a lot of light through sparse clouds so maybe I'll see it coming up above the Cascade Mountains.

Briefly got to see the full moon for about 5 minutes before it again hid behind the clouds. Unfortunately, not able to see it at it's low point in horizon, but it was a definite respite from the rainy overcast weather we've had way to much of lately.
 
I was sitting in my car watching the sunset. It was very impressive, good color and clouds, just not in the right place for a picture........then I turned around and there was a big full moon. Pretty nice. thanks for the pix Jim.

I got to watch it all night long, even had an opportunity to peek at it with my monocular. It was especially cool when it set.
