Sundog is Back - in TomCat 255

I am super excited to be back as a C-Dory owner. We just purchased C-Roamer located in Skagway and looking forward to getting her back to Anchorage and our favorite playground and earth "Prince William Sound".

About 7 years ago after we had triplets - yep triplets :) we sold our 22 cruiser and jumped up to a 36' Grand Banks, which we are now going to sell by the way. It was an amazing adventure bringing this boat up the inside passage from Anacortes to Whittier, really a trip of a lifetime.

We simply found the big boat to much for us to handle and are anxious to get back to the trailerable approach. I just wanted to say howdy to everyone again, hard to believe I joined C-Brats back almost 15 years ago and will never forget my early days with our 22 cruiser.

I am looking forward to making new memories with the Tomcat 255 and also looking forward to being involved and sharing stories and life with you fine folks as well.

Just to throw it out there, would love to hire someone to pickup our boat down in Skagway sitting on a trailer - anyone game? Working out my passport deal but if I found someone that was interested I would love to hire that out.

More to come, I will post some photos from our trip to Skagway for some sea trials and such and hope to share many adventures in the future.

Cheers from The Sundog Crew

Welcome back! 5 kids and two adults--the Tom Cat will do it. One trick I used was we had a cushion made for the floor in front of the forward facing dinette seat, and I slept for and aft. My daughter and grand kids slept athwartship on the big bunk--to the right. This left the dinette for one or two more....

Wow! You've got a full crew there! You'll never need to touch a line, fender , clean your boat or anything. Lol

Congrats on the TomCat. That seems like a great choice for a big family.

Good to have you back, Sundog. Folks sometimes come and go over the years and when they return we just welcome 'em all over again. It's good to hear you and your family are so happy with the Tomcat. Have fun!
