Suggestion Box for C-Dory Factory

I wouldn't consider it structural on a 25 either. It's merely caulked & riveted at the top and held on by 4 lag bolts along the bottom. It does not attach to the sides [of the hull] in any way, so it could probably be trimmed without effecting the overall rigidity. The V berth mold adds to the rigidity and the bulkhead in question attaches to it.
 
It certainly looks better. I do wonder whether the bulkhead contributes to torsional rigidity in the hull? I haven't looked at our 23 cruiser but is the bulkhead on the 22 or 25 glassed to the hull or free standing?

The bulk head on our 25 does not add to the rigidity of the hull. This mod was done 2+ years ago. Since then the boat has been trailered from BC to the Baja, diagonally from San Diego to New York and back across Canada from Ontario to BC. (Those interstates in NY were some rough!) In addition Meander had done about 3500 NM on her own hull since the mod. I have not noticed any cracks (other than very minor gel coat grazing) or flexing in the bulk head or any other structure attached to it. I have noticed far less condensation in the v-berth area and a warmer nights sleep when the heat is on.

Maybe this has already been mentioned, vetus portholes in the v- berth would be a great factory option for the 22.
 
Widen the opening for the V-Berth

Best mod I'v done to our 22...a lot easier to get in and out as well as better air circulation.

I would like to know what maintenance, repair, and modification services the factory is willing to do. If these items and services could be listed with perhaps an approximation of cost, it would be helpful. Thanks.

The factory is willing and capable of doing any and all modifications that are wanted by past, present and future customers. We are also very competant and willing to do all service work and repairs. As far as pricing is concerned I would do it on a case by case scenario so it would pretty difficult to put a blanket cost on retro work until I could see what I was dealing with.
