spot light mystery .

Well I got to use my spot light this weekend while crabbing at Blakely Island this weekend. I ran out at last light to pull my pot on saturday night. I had to use the spot light to find the entrance to Blakely on the way back in. Just used it for short periods to spot the entrance and then the dock. After docking and shutting everything down and getting out of the boat I noticed that another boat had left its spot light on. I walked over to see if any one was on board. No one home and the dorr was locked, hate to see the guy have a dead battery in the morning so I opened the side window and could reach the switch from the dock and turned it off. After shutting the window I noticed another spot light shining on the shore. It was not there a minute ago. Looked around to see where it was coming from and it was coming from MY BOAT. What the hey??? walked back to my boat and grabbed the remote control for the light and turned it off, and turned the other boat on. What?? My remote was turning one light on and the other off when ever I hit the button. I have my light on a circuit breaker so turned it off and then used my remote to turn his off from my boat. So if you have a light hook the power to a toggle switch on the dash so you can turn it off and not have chance of some one else turning it on. Just a hint to help out.

Years ago we were visiting friends in a different part of the country and had parked our new F150 on the street in front of my buddy's house, much to the dismay of the neighbor across the street who came over to complain that we were making the street look like "trades people" had moved into the area!

Later that night I looked out the upstairs window and hit the lock button on the remote to lock the truck, but mistakenly had the key fob for our Explorer instead. Much to my surprise our truck didn't "beep", but the NEIGHBOR's Ford did inside his garage! Big fun that night, when his car's panic alarm went off "accidentally" at "oh-dark thirty"!

My father installed a remote door bell in his hanger with the bell upstairs in the house. After install he rang it a few dozen times to test it. Worked great. Mom gets a call from the neighbor to have dad come check out her door bell. Seems she was in the shower and it kept going off but no one was there. She pulled it off the wall but it kept going off . Remote devices on the same frequency. Dad had to adjust his unit to make it stop.
