Spirit has landed at her new home in Montana

WE MADE IT!!! After 2 days and 4 mountain passes, Spirit is safely tucked in. Thankfully the trip was uneventful (except for the time that David almost backed our props into the grill of a Ford 150 in Moses Lake-glad he heard me scream). Although we took a leisurely 2 days, the trip went fast with continual conversation about wonderful C-Dory folks.

We so enjoyed our weekend with David and Kate and their encredible hospitality (oysters and crab cakes for dinner and frittata for breakfast). We also had such a good time meeting future friends (Pat & Patti, Tom, Susan & James, Fred & Robin, Kas & Marty and everyone else). We can't wait to get back to the islands and cruise with you all. Also - everyone has a standing invitation to come experience Montana (with or without your boat).

Glad to hear that the trip back waws ok. How did the toyota do on the passes? You are not allowed in the islands with out letting us know first, ok.

Jo and David, glad you had such a memorable time with the northwest C-Pod. I guess I'm spoiled. I read your comments and figured hey, standard operating procedure from my homies, regardless of whether you buy a boat. Just a nice bunch o' nuts.

And thanks for your Montana invite. I'll be by this weekend, and I also like crab cakes.

Glad you had a good time and are now safely home! We had a BLAST too! There are a few new pix in the Cornet Bay 2005 album that I am pretty sure you will want to copy over to the Spirit album! Enjoy!
