South Sound "on the hard" Storage

Thanks to this forum, I learned of a nice "one the hard" deal at LaConner marina. They are storing my Devlin for $108/mo. That beats the moorage at Anacortes of $240/mo. Nice thing is that they will launch the boat 5 times a month without a charge. Also, if a freeze is coming, then they will moor it temporarily in the water...again no charge.

Here is my question. Are there any boatyards and marinas offering a similar deal in the South Sound (Tacoma and below). I'm thinking of moving my 21' Campion to the Sound, on a trailer. I'd like to have the ability to use it and leave it, without messing with launching or retrieval.

Thanks!

I can not think of any place in the South Sound that offers launch and retrieve services, except for the Foss Landing stacked boat storage in downtown Tacoma. They charge $245 a month for any boat 23' or less, and less than 8' 4' high. Unlimited L and R. They do have space at this time, and you Campion would be fine. They have had trailer storage on site, but not sure if they still do. Phone number is 253. 627.4344. (They do not take C-Dorys.) Zittles Marina near Olympia, has dry storage and some outside storage, a launch ramp and a sling launch. Not sure if they will launch for you or not, or if the sling is big enough for your boat. Dry storage by the year would cost about $180 month, and outside storage is about $150, month to month. Maybe worth a call. Their phone number is 360.459.1950.

I think I found a suitable answer to my question. Pickering Marine will store the boat for $42/mo. If asked, they will launch, retrieve, and flush it for $25, at nearby Latimer's Landing or a launch on the nearby Hood Canal. They will also plug in the block heater as needed.

I plan to move Fear Naut up there next month and have some fun....perhaps going on a couple of Coast Guard Auxiliary patrols. I love the South Sound and I never been on the Hood Canal near Belfair before.

Good job! Pickering didn't even cross my mind because they are off of the water a 1/2 mile or so. I have heard nothing but good things about the owner and his business. He sure is willing to go the extra mile to meet your needs.
