Source for a distribution panel rocker switch?

Hi all,

The starboard windshield wiper on C-cakes died late last year and upon installing the replacement I just discovered, with the help of Fred Young of Anita Marie, that the rocker switch for the wiper on the distribution panel, (nav lights, horn, etc. panel), was also dead. Has anyone ever replaced one of those switches? Does anyone know the brand of the panel, I cannot see any Mfr. info. I can find a lot of switches on line but none that look like the one in C-Cakes.

Thanks.

The switches are easy to remove - pull the wires off the back (mark them first so you know how to put them back), and depress the little tabs that hold it in place. Once you get it out, there will be a part number on the side that you can read (and subsequently google).

The switches in the panel are very common in boating shops. They are Contura series switches and made by a few different companies. A common brand is Carling. These switches come in a variety of options and the price can vary greatly by type and vendor. For the wiper switch you just need a SPST on-off switch. You can probably find them on line for around $6. In a store it'll probably be $12-13.
