I had some soundproof material installed in my trawler. Before the install, I recorded the sound of the cabin noise at 2200 rpms. Then after installation, recorded it again with the same recording device, at exactly the same spot.

Easy to tell the difference. Trouble is....how do I share these wav. recordings with all of you? I do not have a web site.

I attempted this but a wav. file is not allowed. Anybody can e-mail me and I'll be glad to send the noise comparison, before and after.

Sorry Greg I've only posted PDF's there. You could try to make a video and post it to YOUTUBE.COM. Just use a picture of your boat and add the wav for sound and then post it to youtube then you can link it here. Windows uses movie maker and Mac has one as well. You could make one that both wav files are in the same video.
