Any broker would love to have this listing but why would you pay a person more and we receive less?

83 years "old"

Ruth, could you hear my "Gasp!" from 2,700 miles away?? I understand the whole "joint thing." You two have always been "the heart" of this C-Brat community since I first signed on.

For anyone that knows this fine couple, they know how Joe and Ruth take care of their boats. Someone is going to get a great boat!

Good luck with the sale.

Hugs,
Jim & Joan

Jim and Joan, Thanks so much for the kind words. Yes, we heard the 'gasp' :D
Sure do think of you often and the adventures we shared. Sure was fun. Thanks again.
Many hugs sent, too.

I'm not in the market for a boat but I did just spend over an hour in your photo album and got about half way through! What a treasure trove of all things Cbrats! Helped me put a face to people followed here but never met - and saw many pics of various Cdorys. Thank you for that. Best of luck with the sale and life's next adventure - whatever that may be.

Regards.

Rob

Our jaws (Kim's and mine) hit the floor on this one!

No, absolutely, no way can you two leave the C-Brats! Jim said it best, "You two have always been "the heart" of this C-Brat community..."
Joe and Ruth, you're both the best and we hope you'll still come to gatherings if you are boatless in the future.

As far as the boat, yes, someone is going to be the proud owners of a real gem.

Patrick and Kim,
Thank you so much for the kind words. We'll still be around (we hope). Think of you every time that we stop by the 'cookie factory' or drive down Kackman Road on our way to Arlington. Take care. Many hugs sent your way.

Hi Rob,
Thank you for everything that you mentioned. I see that you are in Canada. Being born a Canadian I can relate to the provinces.
Sincerely, Ruth

I'll second's Joe's remarks. We understand. But it is not an easy decision. Good boat for some one.

Thank you so much! As you said it isn't an easy decision. We will miss our boat.

I wanted to follow to see if you did sell your boat as I am interested.

Jamie Brown

Hello Jamie,

Good to hear from you. R-Matey is still available. We do have an interested person coming from Vancouver BC today to take a look at her but with the snow situation and right now I-5 is blocked southbound at milepost 246 due to an overturned semi so really don't know what's going to happen.

Will let you know. Stay tuned.

Thanks,
Ruth and Joe
R-Matey

PS: No snow at our place just a few miles south

Dang, Ruthie and Joe, I'm away from C-Brats a few weeks and now this!

All I require is two things:
Make sure the new owners promise to take really good care of R-Matey, and for sure don't stay away from all your C-pals just because you don't have a C-Dory! (Actually, there's too many of us who'll make sure of that.)

My best to you both.
:hug

We too, are selling our 5th C-Dory. So hard to leave boating behind but we will always remember the last 25 years of exploring these wsters with C-Brat friends. We plan to cruise a bit on land in our Casita trailer and I am sure we will be parking near the water looking for those special boats. Good luck selling R-Matey! Al and Karen still on Life of Riley
