Hey, y'all,
Merry New Year, Happy January! It's been a while--and that's the problem. Put this under news from the front in the war on sanity.
Last year, we missed the mother of all CD East Coast gettogethers to date at Lankford Bay (sp?) because I was aboard a skipjack as a mate, and then, in a fit of madness and a desire to see new things, :smilep I took a job with FEMA. So..."Snowdon", our CD22 homebased in Annapolis, Maryland, got less than adequate workouts for much of the fall as yours truly was making his way from tornados in Wyoming to Port Arthur, Texas where Rita had done her damndest to dampen Texan spirits, but failed miserably.
And so... with infinite regret, but for good reasons, we're thinking it's best to help her find a good home with her next family. I'll be posting details shortly in the fer sale section of this fine, fine site, but figured I'd let folks know what's afoot. She's a fine vessal, and deserves to travel in company with someone able to use her well right now. Anyone interested in being considered for the position of owner/captain? Anyone able to talk me out of this madness? Anyone got a brew? Bruce
