Snoqualmie Flood

Sam,

I think that Matt did not know that the Brewery was connected to (owned?) by a C-Brat. Without that tidbit of knowledge it looked like your post was just saying 'at least the beer is ok', while ignoring the horrible devastation all around.

Glad to hear that the water's finally going down. Wish you could send some of it our way, down here mandatory water rationing is being discussed.

If the weather guessers are close, there is a chance for some drying out time ahead. You all need some. There was a short snippet on the news showing an hovercraft type rescue vessel being used. Sorry I didn't get the city but did see someplace here on the site that one of our own was involved in some rescues in one. Sure would beat my canoe or inflatable.

Here's hope for warm and dry for a few days,

Harvey

That was probably DaveS. He is always hovering around here. When all is said and done I would like him to tell us the hours he spent during this little weather occurance.

I don't keep track of the hours, but what I do is enjoy the looks of relief and smiles from the folks that are on the receiving end of what we do.
From my real life encounters with other C-Brats, I find that the majority of them are likewise "cut from the same cloth", in that they don't hesitate to assist their "neighbor" in need of assistance. Many examples can be found on this site....just to name a couple that quickly come to mind....Tom on Susan E rescuing the crew of the overturned vessel off of Camano Island.....the several C-Brats that assisted another C-Brat with a fuel line leak at Genoa Bay Marina last summer.
The list goes on, there are so many C-Brats here that don't hesitate to make another person's life better.

To coin an old phrase that included the words...."It takes a village"....
