I'll have to admit I have never used Craig's list, but have purchased some boats I have found on Boat trader.

The listing is free to the seller, and you will see a LOT of offerings that would not make it into a paid commercial listing like Boat Trader. On almost any given day, SOMEBODY has just listed whatever it is you are looking for....
