Slide Show - Wandering the IP to Alaska

George and Penny, I can't thank you two enough for the incredible show. You did a fantastic job or sharing one of your more memorable trips. Since I first stated "messing about in small boats" I have dreamed of making this trip. You have managed to slap me up beside the head and make me realize that I can't just dream of it any longer. I must also put my energy into making it a reality.

I rate this slide show :thup :thup :thup 's up, and :star :star :star :star 's. A real gem. Thanks again for sharing. Robbi

C-Brats,

There are two types of reward for the effort needed to put together such a show.

The first is the satisfaction that Penny and I get from stirring memories whenever we watch it. Good; but, not enough payback.

The second type of reward is the appreciation expressed by others. Your comments have made it worthwhile.

We thank you

George and Penny,
This is a magnificant presentation--should be shown at all of the boat shows to demonistrate the versitiliity of the C Dory!

Marie and I finally had a chance to sit down together and watch your show.

We have spent 3 summers cruising approxiatmely this same area--yet saw places in your presentation where we had not stopped. This is a testimoney to the vastness of this wilderness.

Thank you so much.

George and Penny! thanks so much for all the time and skill you have invested in your trip and the reportage. Such a pleasant and exciting experience for you to share with us!

George and Penny,

I just had the pleasure of watching your slide show. Visually stunning, great narrative, beautiful calming music, first-rate all the way!!

I thought I was watching a professional documentary on PBS. Thank you so much for sharing.

AWESOME!

Despite its trendiness, I do not use the word 'awesome' lightly. In fact, because of its trendiness, I tend to avoid using it except on rare occasions.

This is one of those occasions!
(Mount St. Helens is another; you're in good company . . )

Hi George and Penny,

Sorry for not commenting earlier but I guess I found your show kind of repetitive.

Oh wait, maybe that's because I watched it eight times.

Holy Man -- you are creative and perseverant. Thank you so much!

Kind regards,

Mark

George and Penny Wanderer

That creation was off the top! One of the best home presentations I have seen of the IP. Ken Burns quality. Got goose bumps watching it. Congratulaitons!

Thank you sooooo much. I'll never complain about the thousands of pictures my wife takes again... I just wish she could organize them as well as you have. Truly an inspiration.

George and Penny,

We'll add our kudos as well. Becky and I sat and watched it twice, and dreamt of doing it ourselves someday. GREAT JOB!

Better be careful now! If we get too many more slide shows and videos going here, Ted Turner will come in, buy out Mike and Bill, and make this site part of his communications empire! (Then Bill really will have his millions!) (And Mike can retire and still afford to send the girls to college!) Joe.

Don here,

George and Penny,

Wow! That was spectacular! Incredible photographs, choreography and narration! I’ll be sure to watch that again several times. It sure provides motivation and inspiration for our planned trip up the inside passage this summer.

Thank you for ALL your other slide shows/photo albums too. Lake Powell is one that comes to mind…..

Thanks,

Don and Dee

Dee here,

All I can say is "Oh, My God!" That was an incredible video, both pictures and narration. Thank you for sharing your trip with us.

George and Penny,
Well the superlatives have all been used up long ago as my wife and I just now viewed your wonderful documentary. I don't know what else to add except thank you very much for sharing this with us.

By the way we are curious about your backgrounds which enabled you to pull this off so professionally. Could you share this?
Thanks again,
