i was watching a national geographic type show last evening and it was about north american river monsters. i've been following their series for sometime now. last evenings episode was regarding the silver carp and the snakehead as well as giant snakehead fish.
it seems that when a boater revs up his engines, 20, 30 to 40lbs silver carp's catapult their bodys 3, 4, 5' out of the water. couldn't believe it, but a boat was going down a river and these silver carp, 100's of them were just jumping out of the water like crazy.
regarding the snakehead and giant snakehead, have any of you c-dory fisherman type's caught any?
