SEE YOU ON THE WATER

Now that I'm moored at Everett, I was thinking about going out for this one. I've not shrimped in that part of the sound. Anyone know some good areas for spot prawns in Areas 8.1 and 8.2 that they'd be willing to share?

Roger if you just come north along the east shore you will come to the ship wreck. keep going north until you come to the 4 or 5 houses on the rail rood tracks. just south of the houses is good. 200 to 300 ft has been good. Capital C and I have been getting limits for the boats everytime out in that area. Also the area just south east of hat island has been good for alot of people. I will be up north with the other roger. Good luck.

roger, sorry I read everett and was thinking edmonds. Just go south. just before the ferry is also a good spot in 200 to 350 ft. just look for other pots. How many pots do you have? I have a few spares if you need to borrow some.

well roger and I hit the water in his boat at 630 and dropped our first pot at 7am. we dropped 4 pots and pulled all for a hour later for two limits plus. had to sort by size. we had tossed the first tow after pulling them but kept the second two pots on board after the first pull. had to go get the first two again right away as we had our limits. had to dump shrimp. Great spot, great weather, and great company. I was having a great day until I headed home. My 1996 ford windstar with 200k plus died. I had just put a new water pump and wind shield in her last month alone with alternator. So today one of the rod ends cut loose. thats a bad sound believe me. so I have spent the4 rest of the day looking at car. I would much rather shoot my left foot ( right on is for kicking my self and I need that one) then deal with car salesman. So much for good weather.

Way to go Roger & Tom. Sorry about your car troubles. I'll have to take you up on your offer next year! :wink

I'm going to try fishing the Tulalip Bubble Saturday with my son. Wish me luck!

Just then Susan E posted the shrimp grounds on the internet.....
Dang, and it used to be such a quiet place till I passed that location on.

Looks like you boys did well though. I could not get out there this time.

Yep, when you told me about it It was just you and me and 300 of our friends. now everyone will know. dont worry they will forget by next year.
