My 2008 C-Dory 25 has a Sandvik shower that one of the hose connections leaked. The plastic adapter when tightened jumped a thread and could not be fixed. I tried many ways using caulking etc., but were not successful. I plugged the hoses and would fix it later. Well later came and I finally found the time.

BSPP stands for British Standard Pipe Parallel
NPT stands for National Pipe Standard

Plug up the HOT and COLD water hoses so you can still use your fresh water system. Throw away the plastic Sandvik adapters.
Go online and purchase the following from McMaster-Carr in Atlanta, GA. Whenever you need stuff try McMaster-Carr first, they have everything.

The BSPP adapter to the Sandvik shower fixture is a tight fit. Use some oil and screw them together several times to better mate the threads before installation. The parts are now ready for installation.

Standard in your household kitchen and bath faucets. Remember when in the head the HOT (red dot) goes on the left and the COLD (blue dot) goes on the right.
Install the shower fixture using several wraps of Teflon tape. Tighten the threads and check for leaks.
