Serenity

Roger and Lisbeth have been much too silent about their new purchase of a 25 foot C-Dory cruise ship, so I guess I'll have to congratulate them on their new purchase.

The choice of naming their new Cruise Ship "Serenity" certainly has a nice peaceful sound to it. I suspect that the time spent on the 25' will be a welcome break for Roger from the endless days of operating his farm tractor.

Roger and Lisbeth, are you going to keep your 22' Angler for all that crabbing and shrimping that you do?

Roger and Beth,

Serenity: The state of being serene; calmness; tranquilty.

After all the fun and discussion we had as to what you were going to name the new boat, we're very pleased to find out that you've chosen SERENITY :thup

Congratulations :D

Hi Friends,
We don't have her in our possession quite yet. We need to get a trailer. She did not come with a trailer.
I was not easy to settle on a name. We had seriously considered :idea Rendezvous because we gave up the TP for the SENSEI and the boating.
Still I saw the boat as a Lady....Almost called her MY FARA LADY ... Fara meaning "traveling". Then my son's friend pipes up and says, "You can't call the boat that!" Well, "Why not?" I asked. and he said, "Because nice Ladies should stay home!"
We have had a lot of laughs about some of the names we might could have called her. Right now ( What's What) is on it.
There were some super suggestions for names that were really cleaver.
To answer your question Tom, Yes we are planning on keeping the SENSEI.
Thanks Guys for the Congrats.... :rose

Congrats Roger and Lisbeth! Hope you are able to find lots of time to enjoy this new addition to the family. We have a King trailer to haul our 25 and have been pleased with it; bunks, it sits low on the trailer, easy to launch and retrieve.

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan B.

Wow....that is a nice looking boat ! Nice colors inside and out. It looks well taken care of. Congratulations you two. Now get your permatrim

Roger and Lisabeth-

Congratulations on the new boat!

Great name!

I know you deserve it and will enjoy it throghly!

See ya' in Seattle!

Joe. :teeth :thup

Well Tom, it might have to wait until the potato harvest is done. The Skipper is all taken up with the spuds.
However, once we get Serenity home and all set up....you betcha! I'm still wanting to do another one of the river runs. Only this time with a heater.
Have you and Susan done the Snohomish river?

This is what immediately came to mind to me: urinary incontinence pads, apparently the best-known brand...

No wonder the marketing people have to do brand-name research.

Despite my twisted take on the name, best of luck with the new boat.
