had her out for the maiden voyage on Sat. for some shrimp fishing and I was pleased with the new to me boat. it has been a long time coming for me.

Roger & Elizabeth. Congrats on your new boat. It looks very nice. I know you will enjoy many years crabbing & shrinking. Hope to cross paths with the new Sensei this summer.

That's a great looking 22 Angler! That cockpit space is pretty nice for all that fishing! Probably see you out there, too this summer.

Roger, That looks sweet! It looks like it will sneak up on the shrimp, they will never see it coming.

Looking good Roger and are those rod holder bases on the bow railings? Do you use them for rods or something else?

Greg

Congrats, Roger! Good looking boat! :thup

Thanka all,
Greg, yes those are rod holder mounts. They were on the boat when I bought it.I am not sure what they were used for.

Looking great, Roger! Good for you, I'm happy for you guys!

Nice boat Roger. You don't see too many 22' Anglers around. I'm sure it's a great deck for shrimping and crabbing. Way to go!

Peter

Nice looking boat Roger! Do you notice much difference in the ride, compared to the old classic hull? You got an Ace instead of the old smelly honda puller? I loved how fast that Honda was, you inspired me to mount my own Honda davit. Killed tons of shrimp with that thing. Have fun with that new boat!

I'm also curious about your take on the real-world differences between the Classic hull and the modern version.
For some reason the original design has a certain appeal. We are aware that a bit of a V improves ride at speed, but was anything given up? Did the flat bottom have any benefits of it's own?
Congrats on your new boat. Want to hear about that E-tec, too.

Roger, she looks spectacular. I like the green accents. You, Elizabeth and Jeremiah will have great big fun out there bringing aboard all manner of edible critters. That's just really exciting, and I'm so happy for you.
