seaway 25 coastal cruiser

I have seen other smaller seaways but this 25 sure is a nice looking boat. I really like the flooring in the cab. Did you notice that it has a bow thruster?.

We have one at Wefings . Just reduced the price . I like this boat for a number of reasons. If anyone is interested, contact me . I am selling it for a motivated former dealer.

From the research I've done, they seem to be a great boat and i love down east hull. Eastern boats bought out Seaway so they have a strong company behind them. I think they would be a great boat in the Seattle are there very Good in the Chesapeake chop. I think the down east hull design would be great in the Straits of Georgia And Johnstone Straits. I Thinking a dealer on the west coast would do well What Do you think.

Looks like a very nice boat (from the pictures). I'm not thrilled by the exterior appearance of the aft-most side windows, but there are a lot of very nice touches in the interior. The Yachtworld brokerage boat has some great equipment, but I don't think much of the location of the microwave and fireplace.

They will drive through the chop better than the C Dory 25, but being a semi displacement boat, they will not plane at slower speed, and I susect be not quite as thrifty at a speed of 20 knots or so. Some of the Down East hulls do not handle as well in aft quartering or running seas. The tend to bow bury, bow steer and broach more easily than the flatter bottom C Dory 25. Otherwise, they are nicely finished and have a great reputation.

Wow! what a nice boat at a reasonable price. There appears to be over 10K in electronics. NavNet 3D are very expensive. What a deal.

Do you think they would be popular in the north west. You can buy one new for 125,000 much less than ranger tug 25 or there new cutaway 26 and I think a better sea boat than the ranger or cutaway. I think they would be a hit at the Seattle boat Show What do you all think

I think comparing a seaway to a ranger is a little bit of the streght. I think you can compare it to a 25 c-dory or a venture 26. The preformance and level of trim is just not the same. The only draw back I see is the lack of deck space out back.

I do think that it would be a hit here in the northwest. they should be shopping for a dealer here.

Closer to a Rosborough than a Ranger--and I suspect in about the same category price wise. Also same type of hull---with advantages and disadvantages. Yes, it would be a fine boat for the PNW. Two possible issues: The propane water heater--not sure what type and how vented--if it is to ABYC. (instant flow thru or RV type?). Second is that the Air conditioner will probably require 2 Honda EU 2000i or a single Honda EU3000i. Certainly a very nice boat.

If They offer them in the Pacific North West they would come with a Wallas heater and the AC would be removed, not much use for A.C. In Seattle.
When I was comparing them with the Ranger I was thinking more in the line of an option to the Ranger for the same price Point not that the boats are similar, But I think for there size they may be a better sea boat than the deep V Hull in the Ranger for the Chop Around the Straits of Georgia and Johnstone straits. I appreciate every ones input Thanks.
