On the ferry headed to opening night...can't wait to see and smell the factory-fresh C-Dorys...and the crazy $$$$ sale price.

Let us know what you see.

We're going on Monday, which is Women's Day, all the ladies get in for free.
Must get ticket online for that deal.

Tuesday is 2 for 1 day, same details on the ticket.

Only a 22 and 25 were on display. But boy, just a lot of stuff that I could never afford. The mammoth 600hp outboards were impressive...because when you need to get to Alaska and you only have 30 minutes to do it, I guess? Some of the really nice boats brought out the curmudgeon in me...well, that feature won't hold up...water and grime will just collect there...nice $10K electronics suite that will be obsolete in 5 years. But it was fun...lots of cool stuff to see...and dream about. Made me really appreciate our TC...far from that perfect boat...but perfect for me.

Cdory 25 is 130k
ranger 27 is 230k
seasport 2800 is 330k
30 ocean roamer is 700k

after that my dream boats get out of my price range...lol..

That's why most of us purchase good, used boats. Well, at least I do.

I feel more satisfaction in finding a boat that is completely functional and then adding some new accessories to it. Even if we came into a bunch of money I don't think I could pull the trigger and purchase a new boat.

I'm old enough now to remember what things used to cost prior to the last big inflation period.

It's still kind of fun and interesting to go to the boat show. It gives me a chance to see what's new and get some ideas.

A new boat is really hard to justify unless you are ordering it to have significant build customizations completed in the original build process. Layout revisions, custom windows, and other "before you cut that big hole..." type of changes being examples. We are browsing the used market for a liveaboard, but won't get really serious for a couple more months. Sure wish the prices could reset back to 2019!
