From looking through their site and the ap info, your GPS has to be turned on in order for the tide section to work. Looks like a useful site, but still leary about adding aps.

may gps is always om. I had to re load to get it to work.

I will try it but my GPS is not always on. Will see what happens.
looks like a much more useful app than the TowboatUS one, except for there ARE NO yellow tow boats in PMW.
