Sorry for this but I have run out of patience.
I have bought a 2013 25' Cruiser and i am having a bimini made. I also like the foredeck cover several of you have made but i can not find pics to show my canvas people. How can I find that?

Well I just stumbled on Seaweed and it's bow awning. Only took 3 hrs!

Welcome to the fun. Ain't this place great? Just look at all the neat stuf you saw on the way

Maybe there is a quicker way, but you won't learn as much and have nearly as much fun.

Kinda reminds me of the old days of looking up something in the encyclopedia. Never read only what I was looking for.
And it is a fun site.
Now, if I can just find the Brat with the striped bimini.

And, sort of like the dictionary. Great if you already knew how to spell "it".

Which I usually didn't

But I did learn a lot there too  :thup

X- Brat, maybe now.
Got the stripe idea during a period I spent some "time".

The photo is in my album, last pic.

BBla..., it is me.

Aye.

I would think it would help keep it cooler -- shade on the front windows and on the V-birth hatch. I have seen several variations ---- while cruising through the albums. This one looks pretty nice.

It's not an air conditioner.

It provides shade, some weather protection and ventilation.

Mother Nature determines if it's cool or not.

Aye.

Harvey, "stern in" prevents all kinds of problems, has many advantages.

"Privacy" is way overrated.

Foggy,

I have parked (my car) "stern in" everywhere, all the time for the last 40 years. I was always "on call" 24/7 so learned early on it was quickest way out of anywhere. Made the girls at my bank nervous until we talked about it. Long time habit -- hard to break.

I generally do the same at the dock. Seems folks are less likely to take on a sharp pointed anchor sticking out than a pair of little out boards or their props. (And my Door curtain is my boat dog. You will see that in my signoff here), so I don't worry much about the privacy thing.

I don't quite know how to reply.
It seems you agree with me - so weird here - but maybe just me.

I'm over it now.

The only place I know you can't park ass in first, w/o a ticket or death wish, is
opposing living quarters or steep seas.

How long can I blog here w/o a C-Dory? Do I still have to be 'nice'?

Aye.

No requirement to own a C-Dory here. :thup There are a fair amount of folks here who don't own a C-Dory. Most did, and many still hang around here and comment when they want.

Only one rule, "Just be nice" and that applies whether you own a C-Dory or not.

So, you can hang as long as you want, and we do agree on some things, and others we agree to see from different perspectives. (At least that's my operating philosophy.)

Enjoy,

I sent you a PM with my email address hoping that you'd send your photos and plans. If you don't I'm not going to be nice!! lol

Ken,

Sorry 'bout that. Must have mixed your 356 with your 213. I did try to send
you an email.

Anyway, I have no plans. The photo is the last in my album under
WB Nod (not my old CD boat name) but it's there. Just accentuate the
scallops - that's about all there is to it.

Aye.

What are you thinking for your next boat? -Mike

I'm thinking

*deep "V"
*twin engine IB gas
*25 knot cruising speed
*non-trailerable
*more LOA, wider beam
*more freeboard
*self bailing cockpit
*no problem in 3', or better, seas
*born to stow a dinghy
*at home on the saltless Great Lakes
*comfortable queen walk around berth
*spacious cockpit w/transom door
*builtin swim platform w/ladder
*heat and A/C
*bigger house bank w/add'l solar input
*roomy standup shower
*more room for beer

Actually, I bought this used boat last Fall. Can't wait to return to Michigan.
I've been landlocked here in south Florida now a week, had my fill of fish and
outstanding seafood.

So, how's your mother?

Aye.
