Sanbromotors.com scam warning - 2009 25' dory

Hi folks,

Visited the brats a bunch over the years but mostly watching.

Wanted to share a scam I came across, where they are selling a 2009 25 for 30k. Too be to be true? Yeah it is.

Listed on craigslist, then an email is sent directing you to their well done scammer website.

These folks may be the same as similar ventures in the past Autolotz.com and Acorn Motor Depot who enlisted much effort to provide blog posts and create web sites that legitimize their effort.

Smart group and good at what they do.

Dont fall for em.
 
I didn't see a 25 in that link you shared. However, I am aware that the boat listed here as Kant Miss for $68,000, and also on Boat Trader for $58,000, was scammed on Craigslist for 29,000 or 39,000. That scam was reported on the sale link for Kant Miss. BTW, that boat is sold, and I renamed it C-Traveler! :wink: :D Colby
 
When I sold my 22 in 2010? we had the same thing happen. some ass hat took my listing and copied it to dozen of craiglist sites out of state. some guy got ripped off for 5K and then attacked me on the cbrats as if I had done it. Its a very common scam. Craiglist is great as long as you buy in person.
