Ruth got hurt

Ruthie, I stopped by Skagit Valley Hospital Saturday at about 4 p.m. to see you and offer a get-well hug. Problem was, to visit I needed the patient's full name and I couldn't remember your last name. W-something, dang, what is it I wondered as I sat in the lobby. Made some calls, no connection. Turns out you'd gone home the night before anyway, I think.
Lesson learned. Hug and visit to come.

Wow! Thanks everyone for all the caring thoughts and best wishes for a speedy recovery. Doesn't look like I'll be crawling over the gunnel and into R-Matey anytime soon. I was so-o-o looking forward to Fred and Robbin's CBGT at the end of the month. We've been so involved trying to get the house finished that we haven't really gone anywhere. But I'll keep working on this physical therapy and I have the best caretaker in the world. Thanks so much. Many hugs to all, Ruth and Joe

Ruth, You can do it. Back the boat down the ramp, to where the level of the gunnel is just the right height for you to back up and sit on. Sit and then swing your legs up, and over, turn around and stand up IN THE COCKPIT, and now you can go boating. YOU can do it. If you need someone to back the boat up, I can come help.

Best, to One of the Best,

Harvey
