Running with only 1 trim tab

Long story but I had to pull one of my Bennett trim tabs. Will I run in to any problems going out with one tab off the boat and the other in full upright position? Thanks in advance.

I can't speak to the hydrodynamics of it, but just to check that you have somehow sealed off the transom holes. Otherwise that could be a problem.

Assuming the full up position is neutral at least...I would estimate the difference to be noticeable only in a dynamic movement as the remaining tab exerts force not balanced by the other side when your boat is pitching/rolling from waves/wakes or strong wind. It would be more noticeable as speed increases but when thinking about speed from a C-dory perspective, I am guessing it will feel more weird than worrisome.

Option? Take the other one off and call it an excuse to re-seal it until you have both back in hand.

I would agree with removal of the other tab. You may find that the boat will handle fine--but in certain circumstances, such as going down wind/wave into a breaking inlet--or similar dynamic circumstance, you could find your self in a difficult situation, beyond your control.
