Does anyone have a Roof A/C on a 22 low top? I am trying to decide on the low top or high top,I like the low top look better,but will want a roof top A/C just wondering about the head room inside the low top with the A/C. I am 6 feet even.Any help would really be appreciated.

I think that once you put that airbox on the top, you won't notice the difference in "looks" between the two types of top...

Check out pandy girl photos I think he has a hightop with A/C Go look at different types of A/c units some stick up higher get the lowest one you can some only 7-9 in
Im just under 6ft and I had the regular c22 which has 6ft 2in headroom the A/C unit will stick down about 3in or so you might want to go to high top or to a cape cruiser 23 /venture 23 they have a 6ft 4in headroom and also a flatter roof design much like the c-25 usually you can pick up a cape cruiser for about the same price as a c-22 ?
If going used I would go For the cc-23 over a cd-22 same price If going new then a equally equipped cd-22 will be a little less

I would go with the high top if you want to put on an AC unit. Look at my photo album as to how to properly put in an AC unit, with re-enforcement of the top.

I Installed a Small AC unit on the Roof of Pandy Girl. We have not had any problems with it we have towed it about 4,000 miles with out any problems with the roof. Look at our Pic. if you need any other info. PM me Jim
