Does anybody out ther have any experience with RoadRunner trailers for their boats??????

I have been shopping for trailers and they look to be well built and their prices are not too bad.

here is a link to their web site

I traded an almost new EZLoader on a Roadrunner model 4500 Long Bunk in 2006. It has 12 ft bunks, load guides, 7 ft tongue and flush kit. The EZLoader was a piece of junk (rant on this trailer on this site a couple of years ago)and just never fit the boat right.Had issues with both LED taillights filling with water and it rattled when towing. Of course I took a loss on the EZLoader but to me it was worth getting rid of it.

I am very pleased with the Roadrunner - done a couple of tows to Campbell River - tows like a dream with my Ford F-150 with a small V8. Mine came with Goodyear Marathon tires - manufactured in New Zealand of all places.

The only complaint I have with the Roadrunner was the cheesy Chinese knock-off bearing protectors - circlips and springs corroded. I removed them and ordered a set of SS Bearing-Buddies from Puerto Rico.
I recommend Roadrunner trailers- quality built in Canada of course!

I purchased a new RoadRunner trailer in 2006 after my original Ez Loader dissolved after 23 yrs. use around salt water.
The RR is a very well made trailer, welded instead of bolts and has performed well so far. The lights shorted out the 1st time into the saltwater but I just got my light bar out again.
Also the surge brake master cyl. filled with salt water so it went into the dumpster. I don't need brakes anyway.
The price was approx. 2/3 of any other comparable trailer.

These are canadian trailers that seem to hold up pretty well ,My friend bought a Glasply in 1986 with a roadrunner trailer . I just visited him in California this summer trailer still looks good . The usuall stuff went bad drum brakes ,lights etc. Make sure you get disc brakes and redo the light with a light bar . I just went through this I bought a continental Alum 5000lb trl with torsion suspension and disc brakes I love it . Good Luck
