Rick & Donna (416rigby)

NICE SHOES!!! If shoes could make you sexy, those could make another aligator with similar footwear grab you by the snout and roll over and over with you until the morning sun comes out! (Only in Alabama, though.)

Sorry if the joke offended anyone, I was not trying to be offensive, just funny!

Joe.

Good lord, when I first saw that photo I thought "Jeeze, Byrdman must have shaved his feet and lost a lot of weight."

Thanks for clarifying who wears the Crocks in your family.

Don

You guys are too funny!

Never a dull moment around here. Hey, Don, if it weren't for a bit of your help a while back, we might not even have "C-Dory Shoes" so you get partial credit. 8)

Patrick-

I'll gladly retract the joke an offer my appologies to you and anyone else it offended. I was not trying to be offensive, just funny. Sorry. Joe.

Joe - I am known to be slow and dense at times, however I read your joke and did not see anything offensive in it. Not necessarily a real funny joke but nothing offensive, so maybe I am dense.

Dave-

Thanks for the assurance.

Apparently some found it a bit uncomfortable, so I retracted it.

Looking forward to seeing you in Seattle!

Joe.

Thanks, but that was just the usual crock from a Navy guy to a Coast Guard guy.

Speaking of Crocks though, what confused me was where the strap was in the photo. Here in So Cal, the women wear Crocks with the strap flipped forward - and the Crock worn like a mule. The guys wear Crocks like Byrdman and Mario Bataglia the Iron Chef do. Strap in the back. I assume Crocks ain't popular up in Alaska which makes yer bride a newbie owner, but you definitely don't want her to pick up Byrdman's bad habits, so clue her in. You can, however, let her pick up his barbecue techniques....

Joe...and others...

1st Joe...thanks for the edit and I too for sure look forward to seeing you and some of the other NW gang in Seattle...just less than 90 days away :beer :cigar :clock :tea .

Others: As an individual, it did not offend me. At the same time, I know folks who look at this site with their children and grandchildren enjoying the fishing , boating, and travel pictures and readings. No appoligizes were needed from Joe..but I do thank him for the adjustment/edit. I too have been asked to edit some post when expressing myself on some items near and dear to my heart, and I appreciated the heads up from others who read into it a bit more than I was really saying...or meaning to say. Trust me, and those of you who have been around me know for a fact that I am not one for sensorship...but, there is a time and place for everthing.

Now, let's get back to having fun.... and look forward to Seattle. Tickets and reservations made!!
