RF Ground for 19' Angler

Hello all,
I am installing my electronics this weekend. I have the Raymarine C97 and Ray55 VHF radio. Instructions talk about an RF ground for both units. My boat is a 2008 19’ Angler and not sure if I already have a RF ground point to run the grounds from both units to. If my boat has this RF ground boat where is it located? If it does not I was told by Raymarine to run it to the negative side of the battery. I am a newbie to this stuff so any help is appreciated.
 
Negative side has worked just fine for me and many boats!

Thanks Charlie - Just spoke with Triton and even though they did not build my boat they do not put RF Grounding in the ones they are building, at least not on the 19'. I will run the rf ground from the C97 the negative battery terminal. Won't run the RF ground for the vhf since I do not have a RF grounding point on the boat. The manual says specifically not to connect the RF ground from the vhf to the negative battery terminal.
 
For those types of electronics a RF ground is not necessary. Running to the negative battery terminal can give a ground loop. Probably not a problem with what you have, but can be. The only place an RF Ground is necessary in our boats is if you have marine SSB or Ham radio. There you can use either radials, some of the railings, or ground to the motor leg. I prefer to use a dipole antenna, and avoid that entirely.
