Remembering Mississippi River C-Brat Gatherings.

This year we left the C-Otter at home in Florida as we are doing Americas Great Loop on a Californian 45 owned by our great friends Lee and Jan Murray. They are heading home to Michigan for a few weeks and Joyce and I are staying on the boat at Alton Illinois till around Sep 15th. After that we will continue the “Loop”

Staying at Alton reminds us of the great times we had here in the past. Ken, Tex and the rest of the crew put together the greatest gatherings. I always told Ken he spoiled us! Terry’s white hots and red hots …..Like Wow! The muffins in the morning, Lees ice cream, Jan’s pies and don’t forget Elvis that one year.
The visiting on the dock was the frosting on the cake.

Just wondering if there are any Brats that happen to be in the Alton area from now to Sept. 15th that want to get together? Not a gathering as such.

Going to Fast Eddies for lunch…😁

I am there in spirit. Think of you guys often and look forward to hearing a first hand account of your travels.

We had originally planed to be in the Alton area the first part of Sept. We fondly remember the gatherings there. Here is to Ken/Pat and Tex!/Sharon! To the Red hots and white Hots. (If you hand'nt gone you don't know what you missed.

However Ms. Maries knee replacement got in the way--the great news is that less than 3 weeks post op she is doing very well.

If anyone starts it back up, We all be there in the RV and Caracal to cheer the gathering on!
