Ramblings

Yeah, the leak is fixed. Lots of water under the sod. That's what the ditch is for - to give it somewhere to go. Hole in the plastic pipe. Fixed until summer when I need to replace the junk all the way to the road. Can't wait to get the next water bill.

It doesn't look like they have one. There is a site for a King Marine in Marysville, WA, that sells hardware for boat tops, but it can't be the same outfit. It don't matter anyway - they won't have any parts for, or be able to improve upon, the AQC.

Thanks Mike, I think we found the number to the canvas shop. It's time to put the AQC into retirement and get one of those real nice covers.
C-Lou has been running around topless long enough, besides I'm spending her Christmas bonus!

Hey C-Lou Jon! Wade is right on Dave is pretty nice guy to deal with. Are ya gonna take C-Lou to him or pick up the top at the SBSCBC? Glad to hear you are getting one!!
Jim

Jim, I called the canvas shop today but I think there out for the holiday. As soon as I can make arrangements, I'll get the boat over there for the installation.

Hey Mike, Cynthia and I was 'puttin around the Boat Haven Marina today and stopped in front of the former "Strait Lady" boathouse. If I could afford it, I wouldn't mine having the house your boat came out of. That little hut was really neat.

Yep, it is a neat little hut. I think they were asking something like $3500 for it, though. Then you would have to have it moved to wherever you wanted to pay to keep it.

My biggest regret concerning that boathouse was being in such a daze when we went to get the boat that I didn't think to look around and talk the guy out of the boat stuff in it. That was supposed to be Cynthia's job, but she was too enamored with the yacht club special cockpit canopy. And everyone else was too busy searching inside for the stash of Canadian cash.

All in all, though, I must say that me and Kay are glad the boat is no longer in that house!

Mike, Cynthia was to busy drooling over that 25 foot green machine. I like that boat alot, but Cynthia really likes it if you know what I mean. Maybe that's why we got a canvas and are in the process of getting a wallas. :smile

We're really glad you guys got it. Our 1986 Angler is it for us.

Hey Roger, guess what we had for dinner tonight? Man, it's been over 4 months since you brought your truck load of spuds to the Cornet Bay outing, and there still in good shape and tasting fine. Thanks again J & C
