I know I should know this but...
What is the practical minimum draft of a TomCat at which you can still use the engines?
I’m looking at Lake Champlain waterfront property with seasonal fluctuations that might get just a bit too shallow in the late autumn. With a long enough dock I should be able to get into 2 1/2 feet all season (and usually much deeper)
I would just need to putter out another 50 feet beyond the dock to get into reliably deep water. Actually adding 50 feet of dock would involve all kinds of permits and whatnot.
Potentially signing on the dotted line tomorrow!
