Question for South Sound C-Brats

Today was a special day. I towed our new to us CD 22 Cruiser, "Tortuga Del Mar" from Medford, OR to my driveway in Corvallis. We are so excited to begin making some customized changes to her.

As we plan for the spring and summer use of Tortuga in South Sound waters, I have some questions for those of you who cruise the area around Anderson Island. We have a home on Anderson Island and will launch from the Riviera Marina on the island. There is no ethanol free fuel on the island. Our options are to haul fuel in 5 gallon containers from the mainland to the island to refuel, but that is a real pain.

I would be interested to know where the closest marinas are to Anderson Island where we can refuel our CD. I know marina fuel can sometimes be more expensive than pumping your own but the high cost of taking the boat back and forth on the ferry to refuel makes marina fuel more economical.
Thanks,

Terry

One question. Are you going to burn off the e-10 fuel with in a few weeks? If so dont worry about fueling for the weekend on the island. I dont like e-10 fuel but if I am just going to burn it in a few days or even a few weeks I dont sweat it. Its almost impossible to find non e-10 around here anymore. I just run a extra filter before the motor with a water separator and drain it often.

Congratulations!

Zittel's Marina at Johnson Point (9144 Gallea Street Northeast Olympia, WA 98516; (360) 459-1950) is just a couple miles to the WNW of Anderson. It has non-ethanol fuel.

From the Riviera Marina it is about 8 NM to Narrows Marina in Tacoma, just south oh the Narrows Bridge. Zittels is about 7.5 NM towards Olympia. Both marinas sell non ethanol gas. To the best of my knowledge all of the marinas in the South Sound sell non ethanol gas as they get it from the same supplier.
