Pull the pin?

My 9.9 kicker is on a lowing mount. The mount says "counter turn the two nobs then pull the pin and lower", Where in the heck is the pin? I tired for 20 minutes to lower the thing this past weekend and could not find the "pin".

The boat is 4 hours away and I forgot to write down the brand of mount :sad

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I found similar wording in the instructions for Garelick models 71090 and 71091. I wonder if one of these might be the model you have? Link to instructions is here:

Here is Figure 8, describing operation, in case this is the one you have, or it jogs someone's memory. It almost sounds like the "lock pin" is something fixed that you disengage by pulling the bracket handle vs. actually pulling a pin out (of course this bracket may not be what you have).
