Posting Emoticons (smilies)

How do I attach smilies to my messages? I drag one over but it doesn't stay. Ijust get the writing saying 'java script'. I have tried c-brats google and FAQ, I can not find the answers. On my Options under Emoticons I have, HTML OFF, BBCode ON, Smilies ON. Please help.....I'm fed up standing in the corner facing the wall with my dunce hat on.

You don't "drag it over" either. Just "tap" it and it will appear in your post where the cursor is...

I'm not sure if this is just a quirk of my setup, but when I click on one of the emoticons it will show up in my post box (white box I'm typing in), but it will always show up at the very bottom, no matter where the cursor is. Since they're simple codes (which you can see once they are in the post box), I find that I can memorize a few and just type them in as I go (or of course I can move them from the bottom of the post box to wherever I want them).

Sounds like the "showing up at the bottom" may just be me, since I don't see rows of emoticons along the bottom of most people's posts 8)

No, you are right.. :thup They just show up at my cursor b/c I put them in as I go along.
