Portable battery powered microwave stove

I'm not impressed. I'd like to see the power consumption and heat output figures for these really small units.

When you can buy a good 500-700 watt unit for $50 ($15 at a yard sale) and run it off your inverter and house batteries, what's the point in a way underpowered ~$200 unit?

Too be really useful, you need a 1000 watt or more unit anyway, if possible.

Sorry to be negative, but it looks more like a toy to me.

Joe. :teeth :thup

I think this may be right up there with a "battery powered generator", or the thought of "dehydrated water"....

Hope someone buys one and proves me wrong but.....in the meantime,
"This way to the egress".....

Joe,
Fork over another hundred for the wavebox...it's 299.95 and if you start cooking right now your popcorn will be ready for the late show.

I agree buy a good inverter and a cheap microwave and be done with it.

You will get more use out of a good inverter then the microwave in the long run.
