There is a very good article by Sam Landsman on his “Slowboat.com” site dealing with weather forecast interpretation and analysis for the PNW. It deals with building an interpretation to use for making “go/no go” decisions and in Sam’s usually careful and detailed way he provides links to some great resources, and shows the methods for using them.

For those who boat on the BC coast, or Salish Sea, or are heading North to Alaska (Sing along here with Johnny Horton) this info is worth taking a good look at.
For those who don't know Sam, he is a great guy, an accomplished C-BRAT (Has done both SE Alaska and Outside Vancouver Island on his 22 Cruiser Retriever) and now leads flotillas to SE AK.
