We intend to use our CD25 off and on all year. Is it possible to drain the water sufficiently to NOT have to use the pink stuff?
 
You can pump the water tank empty by just running it dry through the galley sink. The other area I would look at is how much water there may be in the sump for the shower. Usually it pumps pretty dry, so it shouldn't be an issue.
 
pcator, assuming the pump setup is similar to some of my old boats, it may be safer (after pumping the water tank dry) to loosen the waterpump connections - at least the one with the lowest tubing, to drain out the water from the impeller area. Usually not too hard to do. Or, you could splice a "T" valve into the pump intalk with an open tube to just suck a tad of 'pink stuff' into the pump impeller.

With frequent winter use, and storage near a 110V source, any one of those electric heaters with a "no-freeze" setting would keep the interior at about 40 degrees. The oil filled radiator types are what I used, along with a magnetic block heater on the boats with inboard engines.

I used to pump out the water in the tank. Some would remain, but the tank
acted like an ice cube tray, basically. The little bit left froze and never
hurt anything.

The lines need to be emptied or kept from freezing. I used to disconnect the
water tank and have the pump suck up pink stuff.

A friend used to blow compressed air throgh the lines.
