Picking her up tomorrow

Long time member, first time owner! Picking her up tomorrow and will spend the rest of the year on Lake Wawasee, IN getting the feel. This will be quite the upgrade from my old aluminum jon boat!! A little intimidated, but I'm sure the adrenaline will will be all good once the engine turns for the first time for me! Excited to graduate to the Great Lakes and beyond next year! As for now, bass, pike, and walleye will have to suffice :D

I got my first C-Dory in 2001. I run my boat on average at least once a week year round. I've got many thousands of miles on the water. I went out for a little cruise today - and the adrenaline is is all still good. I get pumped up every time I step on board. :D :thup :thup

Hope you enjoy your boat as much as I enjoy mine. Congratulations!

Congratulations and welcome to the Brats. For a "long time member", you sure have been scarce.

How about some pix of this new boat? Time for an album Mike!

We've had two so far, they are great boats to personalize to taste. Also they do great at retaining value, but the best part is using them year round. Specially when all the other boaters have called it quits and you turn up the heat and continue using it. Winterizing, what's that? :thup :smile

One of my favorite quotes sums it up:
"Every time I push away from the dock, it's a good day."

I agree...the good feelings never go away. Welcome to the club.
