Hi, I was talking to Harvey about the cost of parking for those that are spending a long time, 5 days or more, at the local ramps. I have a fair sized graveled parking area at my house in Marysville/Tulalip. I offered it last year for anyone traveling in the summer. I can park a few truck and trailers while you are gone traveling .
There are a few things to consider. Depending on when you are gone and when i am gone you may have to park and or come get your truck your self from the Everett ramp. Which is not far away, 5 miles. Or you can use the marysville free ramp depending on tides. Short cab ride. If i am in town and not still cruising at that time I can just come get you for launching or retrieving. I did this last year for one brat and it worked out well. I have water in three places and power at 5 places with 4 out lets each in the parking lot. depending on how many rigs I may have to move rigs around while you are gone so you would have to leave me a key. On that note I have a class A and drove truck for 10 years for work. I have been trailing boats for almost 40 years. It can be a tight area to back into but I do it all the time with the 4 boats I own on trailer.
so for the friday harbor gig I offer this at no charge and if you want to leave a rig for the summer if you are making a longer cruise we can talk about price. like $50 a month??
anyone that is interested can pm me.
