Overall length?

I think the answer depends on why you're asking.

If it's for paying for a slip in a marina, the length is 22 and 25, respectively.

If it's to see if it'll fit in your garage/barn, you'll need to tell us what kind of trailer it will be on. The boat/motor will overhang at the back and the tongue of the trailer will stick out in front.

Be a little more specific and we'll try to mislead you as best we can!! :cry

We pulled into one marina and they asked the size of our boat (CD-25). I replied, "25 feet."

He asked, "If I put you in a 25 foot slip are you going to hang out of it?"

"Yeah, probably."

He put me down as a 28' boat and charged me more. :disgust

When I step it off, it's about 28'.

Jim,

Somewhere in there,(add puzzled face here),I think I got a bigger boat than I thought I had (put big happy smile here), and it didn't cost me a dime(thumbs up pair here). Thanks for the great news(lots of thank yous go here). So if I back into the slip, maybe they won't notice the pointy end sticking out, (bit of a wink goes here).

(And down here, a note: All the Emoticons I tried to add just lined up at the end of the paragraph. Multiple tries same results, [add frowny face here), so I'm leaving the graphics to your imagination).
