Hi Folks,
I've enjoyed your site for years and have finally been able to purchase my 16 Angler.
My partner and I are just getting it set up for salmon now. Today we installed the downriggers and Wednesday we'll hit the water looking for Coho in the Straits.
I was hoping to get some ideas for rod storage on our little boat. The previous owner installed two L brackets under each gunnel. These work OK, however, the rod tips have to be carefully worked around the throttle and reels contact the control cables on the starboard side.
I would like something handy and secure for four rods when the boat is on the water but that won't add too much height when trailering.
If need be the rods can be taken out of the on water storage when the boat is being trailered.
Ideas and pictures would be welcomed.
Thanks
The C-Donk
