Our New Venture 23

I was interested in those Rivermaster boat seats so i sent them an e-mail for additional information and price: Tug

Here is some additional info on the Rivermaster – a pair of them would run you $1226.00 plus shipping – also there is a color chart attached as well – let me know if you have any further questions, or if you would like to get a pair on order. We are currently 3 weeks out in manufacture time.

Thanks again,

Thanks Tug! Good info. I may replace my helm seat with one of these.

Now has anyone actually sat in the Bentley Rivermaster seat? Is it comfy? Ergonomically does it work, with the armrests?

Ian or Jackie Grant, any comments are appreciated.

Thanks :D

Bentley's is just up the road from me, and I was in on Wednesday asking about having my captain's seat re-padded. If needed, I can go plop my behind in a Rivermaster if anyone needs an opinion.

My opinion right now is that they are damned expensive...

BTW, Bentely's does great work. The did my curtains, mooring cover, camperback and reworked the King boat cover. I think that the pricing for these items was reasonable...

My only experience is with the seat which came with the boat. I find it very comfortable. Our longest non-stop travel has been a little over 3 hours. We do not have the arm rests on as it is too tight to get in and out of the seat with them in place.
