Five years old and going as strong as ever!

Thanks to Mike and Bill and all the rest of the contributors and members!

Is there any way we would want to commemorate the occasion?

I know it's about 47 days away, but if anyone has any ideas, there's still time to act.

If not, we can just celebrate the occasion at the CBGT/SBS in January in Seattle.

I think one of the first things everyone should consider is putting a donation in the donation jar. Whatever you think the wealth of information available here means to you, in the archives or the ability to ask just about any question and get many genuine and well thought out answers to consider.

And thank you Bill and, and,,,,,you know, that guy in Oregon.

Kate and I will be in the air between Seattle and Maui on the special day. I will be checking in to the site after we arrive of course.

Seriously, though...everyone loves a nice hat...maybe a special 5th logo...that might be cool.

Nah-- that's just the birthday of this web-page.
We were Brats long before that.
Us old timers were members of the original C-Brats while stuck on the MSN Groups. And some of us were members of the original Owners group before that.

I first signed on in late 2001 when I was in the process of ordering my boat.

But that does not reduce in any way the thanks that we have for Bill and Mike---- thanks Guys. :thup :beer :beer :beer

By the way--- who did place that Brat sticker in Mikes boat?
 
Wow, this place is really growing.

Kind of like the 5th Anniversary Logo idea, and how about a moderately sized burgee shaped C-Brat logo window sticker for the tow vehicle and one for the boat too. If we came up with a design, Kevin of the Catch22 makes some really nice stuff and I bet he might consider doing them for a reasonable cost.

So if my math is right, are we celebrating October 26?

OH Yeah, That would have beem my Wife,Lisbeth. it was done as a practical joke and look where we are now......lol.....

...and I still have it. It is framed and in the boat.

Wonder if anyone that is good with the graphic programs could come up with a drawing of:

A basic C-Dory profile (cruiser or angler or a combined)
5 Stars for the 5th anniversary and for the 5 basic craft represented here:
25, 22, 19, 16 and the Tom Cat
and "Just be Nice"
and C-Brats.com
Something like this, a burgee shape, blue background, 5 stars from the top corner down to the tip along the top edge, the C-Dory shape in the middle just raise enough to put the "Just Be Nice" under it like waves, and teh C-Brats.com along the bottom edge going up towards teh tip.

Or a white background and a black silhouette of the boat shape in the middle. With the 5 stars in the 5 most popular CD colors.

Or anything someone else could come up with that is better.
Then get them printed and put em up for sale on the site and at the SBS Hawthorne CBGT

What about the Venture 23 and 26 the kissing cousins of the c-dory
 
Did not mean to exclude them, there is also the 29 and the TC 24. Just trying to pick the most common craft in the line-up. There are more than 5 colors too, but I would stay with the five most common. Hey this was just my idea, there are probably several dozen other ideas just as good.

I just like the idea of something to commemorate the C-Brats 5th anniversary here.
