I may not have the biggest boat in the harbor, or the fanciest, but I must say the TyBoo is sitting prettier than the Lily Marlene at the moment.

The CG has been down on the dock a few times to look it over. I have no idea why it sank or when/how they plan to refloat it.

Maybe there will be a new Gordon Lightfoot song coming out.

That was a really bad day for somebody. Bummer. Probably no life lost or serious injury so that softens the blow, only a little. No fire, so no other boats involved. Hope things get better from her for that owner.

Probably had too many leaky seems for the bilge pumps to cope with.

Or Electrical failure (batteries or plug) to keep the pumps running.

At one point on my summer cruise I had to get into a very crowded marina, due to severe winds. I was rafted to a 40ish foot, very old wooden fishing boat. It had a bilge pump that ran 24/7, and another on that came on frequently. That one had a discharge that came very close to running directly into my cockpit. I moved the boat, so that the discharge didn't come so close to the cockpit coaming, and as soon as I could, I moved to another boat for a happier rafting opprotunity :disgust
