Officially a C-Brat!

I finally took home our first C-Dory yesterday... a 2008 22' Cruiser with twin honda 50's!

I just wanted to say thanks to the many members on this forum that gave me some excellent feedback during the shopping process. You guys really helped up my confidence with my purchase and guide me in the right direction.

My wife and I are thrilled with the "new" boat and are looking forward to many fishing, camping, and exploring adventures in our future.

One last thing -- I think we've settled on a name for our boat. What's the best way to get lettering and apply to the boat?
 
Find a vinyl sign maker and get a computer designed sheet set in the custom color and style you want. Select an easily readable font at a distance with bouncy binoculars. At least 4 inch letters for name and avoid cursive, italics, olde English and especially don't get it in all capital letters. My 2 cents

You will not be disappointed with this boat, or the lifestyle of cruising, along with all of the C-Brats that will become your new friends.

Congratulations BuildItOnce on the purchase of your C-Dory. We are also very thankful to the C-Brats community for helping us with so many questions about C-Dory boats. One thing we are glad we did after our purchase was to go to the 2017 Friday Harbor C-Brats event. We met so many nice C-Dory owners there and had a great time with each and everyone at the event. Greg, Cindie and Aven hosted the event and did a wonderful job with the organizing and making sure everyone felt welcome and was having fun. If there is another Friday Harbor event or one like it next year make sure you and your wife attend with your boat and I assure that you will have a great time and experience there with your new boat.

Fantastic name on your new boat!
Based on the feedback on this site, I just completed the new name and registration number on my new 26. I received the lettering within 2 days of the order and installation was dead simple.
 
Nice name. Nice job on the lettering and NICE Size. That makes for recognition and communication so much easier.

Welcome and come on out. We love to see C-Dorys on the water.
