Anyone know where I can get the o rings for the round hatches on a 25 ft The ones on my new old boat are Rotten. Live in rural Alaska and can’t just go to a store. Have to get most things on line
Thanks

The round deck hatches used on the 2005 C-Dorys were not any stock item I could find. You have to measure it and find one of the same size. I went to an o-ring supply house.

Here's an on-line o-ring supply house. Just Googled it, you may do better.

Maybe someone will post the correct size. I don't remember, but I'm sure I wrote it down somewhere.

I also was asked the question on the PM--Beckson makes standard replacements for their 4", 6" and 8" O rings. As Boris suggests--there are many O ring supply houses. Many hydraulic shops carry a large assortment of "O" rings. We have one in Pensacola (Pensacola Rubber) which will cut any size square ring (work as well for many purposes, and often cheaper) you need. I had some older style sea strainers on one of my large boats. They made me rings in a couple of minutes.

If you have the exact size--then you can get a duplicate--I have digital calipers which I used to measure items like this. You can do the circumstance if you cannot get the diameter, with with a piece of string.--or in this case, I would use 1/8" line or paracord.

Use silicone grease on the "O" rings regularly to preserve them.

Thanks. I found some on Becksom site for $2.50. They wanted $64.00 to ship to me. I did not order them. Welcome to alaska. Will keep looking. I live 200 miles from nearest town.
Thanks again

Have them shipped US postal service. I found Amazon has 4" and 6" for a little over $8 and "free shipping".

The $64 must have been Fed EX or DHL. There are always shipping options, at least in the United States...

Thank you, Montana Kev.

I couldn't find out what kind of deck plates those were. Now I know. I'll try to remember.

BTW, I know those weren't Beckson and Beckson O-rings don't fit.
